Aid Convoy reach the neediest – Azizabad Village, Charsada, KPK - Nov 2010

Al-Ain International Welfare Trust UK/Pakistan, distributed food items, clothes, shoes and sheets among hundreds of effectees of the village Azizabad, District Nowshehra, the most Flood Effected area of KPK Province.
Addressing the ceremony was Senior Vice Chairman of Al-Ain International Welfare Trust Pakistan, Mr. Fazal-ur- Rehman, who said that the flood was a test time for you people.In this hour of trouble, Chairman Taleh Mehdi and his friends/colleagues from the UK sent relief goods and showed their sympathies to flood effectees of Pakistan. He said from day one, "we all are brothers. In this testing time, we Pakistani’s are all with you and you should be very patient and face the crises with courage and steadfastness." Al-Ain will carry out relief and rehabilitation efforts, till the permanent settlement of the effectees. Syed Asif Ali Hamdani vice Chairman of Al-Ain International trust Pakistan said that although the floods washed mass destruction and the due to cold weather flood effectees are in serious trouble, however Al-Ain International Welfare Trust with the help of donors will make sure the delivery of all kind of goods to the deserving ones. He said that Al-Ain International Welfare Trust will provide uniforms, shoes and books to 100 effected students. Medical specialist of hope Hospital Murid, Dr. Mohammad Afzal Awan said that todays free medical camp will be very much useful for the poor and flood affected people of this village. At the end of the ceremony, food packs, clothes, shoes and relief goods were distributed to the effectees and a free medical camp was also held on this occasion. Al-Ain Aid Convey supported by Nottinghamshire Police Aid Covey, Uhuru Peace Trust and Savanna Rags Ltd , that left UK on in November 2010, containing food packs and medical supplies reached Azizabad village in District Charsada, in north west province Khyber Pukhtunkhawa. This is an area worst affected by the floods and it is also one most poorest parts of Pakistan.
